Every place I look, I see women who are making a difference. The coolest conservative women on the planet are not necessarily dripping with political popularity, or even visible in the press, but they’re making a difference and getting the job done.
When gathered with a group of friends a few weeks ago, we discussed who our top 20 coolest conservative women on the planet might be, and we came up with a pretty interesting list of women. Not all of them well known… But they’re well know to this group of women, and that makes them all pretty darned cool!

Meyer was ranked 49th in Times Magazines list of Top 100 Women in 2008, and listed on Forbes most powerful celebrities in 2009, ranking at #26, and again at #59 the following year, two facts we found particularly COOL about the Twilight author.
And she’s conservative, which makes her even cooler in our book.
19. Maureen O’Hara
Born Maureen FitzSimons, Maureen O’Hara made our list of red-heads. This Irish-born American actress and singer was known for playing fiercely passionate, yet sensible heroines. One of the coolest roles was that of the Mom on “The Parent Trap” in 1961, where she portrayed a conservative woman determined to save her marriage, and raise her twin daughters.

15. Adrienne Ross
Daring to be politically incorrect is nothing new for this columnist, who writes her best stuff for Breitbart. She proposes something between standard truth and consequences, or feel good reality, along with her belief that actions have consequences, a believe she comes by quite naturally, according to her book. “Aunt Alma” is quoted, referenced, and rectified in the sometimes hilarious, all times honest, truths of a woman brought to age in times of real life struggles.
Adrienne reveals the heart side of the woman, and the truth of being an American in her writings, making her worthy of a position in this list of the coolest women on the planet.
14. Loretta Lynn
Born a Coalminer’s daughter, her life has played out in the songs she wrote. As any country music song writer will tell you, the words of the song reflect real life. Loretta Lynn made a career out of writing and singing songs that revealed her heart, her life, and her story.
Now, somewhat retired from a successful singing career, Loretta continues to shine a light on poverty and highlight the best of America’s heartland.

10. Shirley Jones
In a shockingly frank biography, Shirley Jones reveals the struggles and real life experiences that happened as she achieved ‘stardom’ amid sitcoms and musicals. Although she originally wanted to be a veterinarian, her life in the spotlight allowed her to mature with some worn edges, and softened heart that make her truly one courageous and cool woman. The reality with which she reveals her life experiences may make a huge difference for other women, although Shirley says she has no regrets.
9. Tomi Lahren
When you watch her talk, you wonder how she manages to not blow a circuit! She’s a bundle of energy, speed talking her way through the politically incorrect commentary of revelation. She reveals truth to the left, if they’d listen. But more, she reveals truth to the right, and Tomi Lahren – we’re listening, thank you!
Poised and perfected, she’s making a difference and that makes her one of the coolest women on the planet.
8. Jaclyn Smith
Charlie’s Angel? We all remember the trio, and their efforts to stop crime cold. Now that energy is being used for a different sort of challenge. Jaclyn exemplifies ageless youth defying aging processes. Her natural beauty, along with her dedication to making great life choices, reminds us all that you can become anything you want to become. She’s still making a difference because she continues to pursue an active and involved lifestyle. That’s cool!
7. Condoleeza Rice
From Secretary of State to profoundly talented musician, this incredibly talented, brilliant woman speaks of leadership with confidence, “We’re in a new world. We’re in a world in which the possibility of terrorism, married up with technology, could make us very, very sorry that we didn’t act.”
She gets it. She isn’t afraid to be heard in a world where women are profoundly misrepresented by the left as incompetent. Women don’t have to have hard edges, to make a difference, stand out in the crowd, and achieve the proudest moment of being coolest woman on the planet.
6. Sarah Palin
Okay, let’s just start with the fact that while she can’t step out her back door and see Russia (and she never said she could), she CAN step out her back door and see the Northern Lights. That alone, makes her one of the coolest women I know. But add to that, the fact that she’s been the Governor or Alaska, she’s an outspoken, strong woman of achievement, and she doesn’t back down from anything – not even an Alaskan Grizzly – and that makes her positively COOL. She’s got this!
5. Pamela Geller
Speaking out against feminism, Pamela Geller says, “I don’t need equal rights….I’m already equal. I don’t need somebody telling me something that’s already a fact. All these women like Gloria Steinem, “Oh, we made it happen for you!” You didn’t make it happen for me. That whole movement…is rooted in Marxist-Leninist propaganda….I’m not a feminist, I’m an anti-feminist. I think it has hurt women enormously.”
She’s cool. She’s making a difference. She’s empowering equality every step of the way!
4. Crista Huff
She took on the TPP. You may think this is minor, or maybe not a big deal, but I’ve watched it from the beginning, and watched her work. She doesn’t back down from a fight. She just digs in and fights harder. The woman is a bull dog, and she looks great in lipstick! Crista Huff offers incredible insight for investors, on her blog at Good Fellow LLC and I hear she’s an amazing cook too. Even in her own community, she goes the distance, determined to make a difference, and many would agree, she’s the coolest woman on the planet.
3. Dolly Parton
When her community burned to the ground recently, Dolly took action, creating a fund for families, intent on helping each family with ‘a little something’ to keep them going while they struggle to get back on their feet. But Dolly has been doing a little something for a long time, helping the poor, lifting helpers in her community, bringing in jobs through DollyWood, and singing her heart out. She tells a story, and brings forward the needs of a community in song. Listen to “Coat of Many Colors” and feel the love of a woman intent on helping others. She’s the coolest woman because she empowers others to reach their goals.
2. Kellyanne Conway
Because she speaks from a position of power? No. She’s the coolest woman because she stepped up to the need to fill that position of power and accomplished her goal with communication, heart, and desire to help her country regenerate for the future. She has heart, and it shows.
More than heart, she has some mad management skills and abilities that have brought her to this position where she can choose her next step. That’s AWESOME cool.
